Djassi has 22 years of experience as a full-spectrum birth & postpartum doula having worked with over 60 families internationally. She partnered with La Leche League while living in Rome, Italy & is passionate about helping mothers who desire to breastfeed with education & advocacy around the benefits of extended breastfeeding.

Djassi’s mission as a doula is to support birthing parents in every way during the transformative journey of bringing their baby into the world. ​

She aims to fill the role of “birth sister” and the “village” that new parents deserve - whether helping with birth plan writing, cloth / sustainable diapering education, baby-wearing guidance, nutrition consultation, house prep, herbs /aromatherapy, belly masks/casts, self care, birth prep & breastfeeding coaching.

Her role is to provide emotional, physical, & practical support before, during, and after birth, ensuring families feel empowered and confident. ​

Djassi has been present at all-natural - & pain medication-aided vaginal births, water births, planned & unplanned C-sections, hospital, birthing center & home births.
